NLSLA Joins HCHC for 2026 Public Charge Final Rule Press Conference
On August 6, 2026, representatives from Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County and Herald Christian Health Center (HCHC) hosted a press conference on the 2026 Public Charge Final Rule. In a community event offered in English and Mandarin Chinese, Lena Silver, NLSLA’s Director of Policy and Administrative Advocacy, discussed the importance of getting accurate information about the rule, which is set to go into effect on September 18, 2026.
