Learn how to support a student who does not want to go to school, and is being pushed out of school due to discipline, bullying, or their disabilities. We will cover:
- Identifying possible causes of school refusal
- Brainstorming advocacy steps to improve a student’s attendance
We will also facilitate practice sessions and provide a toolkit with templates you may use.
We are offering this clinic in-person at two different locations as well as virtually on Zoom.
We will host the workshop from 1 PM – 2:30 PM, and again from 6 PM – 7:30 PM.
