Ana Maria Garcia
Vice President of Access to Justice Programs
Ana Maria Garcia, Esq. is Vice President of Access to Justice Initiatives at NLSLA, overseeing the organization’s network of court-based Legal Access Centers.
Ana is a member of the Judicial Council’s Advisory Committee on Providing Access and Fairness. She has served on various task forces focused on widening access to the justice system for people living in poverty, and for those with disabilities and language barriers. She also served on the Los Angeles County Commission for Women for eight years, including two as its president.
Ana is a past president of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association and alumnae of the One-Justice Executive Fellowship program. Her leadership and service has been recognized by Legal Aid Association of California (LAAC) awarding her the 2011 Family Law Direct Representation Award.
